The Brisbane Dental Laboratory evolved through several guises over many years from it's beginning in the early 1950s. In 1980 Stan Nagy and his business partner Brian Gentle began Brisbane Gold and Ceramics purely as a Crown and Bridge Lab. From its original location in Elizabeth St, Brisbane, we relocated to our Ann Street address in 1989, then to our current location in Fortitude Valley in 2017. As the Laboratory grew, so did the demands for more complex work. Combining crown and bridge and removable prosthetics, the lab expanded with our chrome and acrylic department. New techniques and procedures along with the continuing boom in computer-based technologies has seen the Lab adapt its protocols to embrace these new advancements, while maintaining the requirement for quality without compromise.
The evolution has continued with the recent purchase of the laboratory that sees us become a part of Modern Dental Group, one of the largest Dental Laboratories globally, whilst continuing to supply and promote our Australian made product.
“we consistently strive to provide products of the highest possible quality.”
