Simon Donaldson GENERAL MANAGER

Simon began his apprenticeship straight from school with Bittner and Gentle Dental Lab in 1976.

Here he met Stan Nagy and he has continued working with Stan ever since. From an early stage of his training he specialized in ceramics under the teaching and guidance of Stan, and now heads the ceramic department of Gold and Ceramics Lab.  Numerous courses with visiting demonstrators and attendance at various conferences have helped him to broaden his knowledge of techniques and innovations.  With the dawning of the CAD CAM era he has taken on the role of coordinating the systems and training of other staff in their use.

He is married with 3 grown children, enjoys travel and the beach.

Peter Tiley HOD Chrome and Acrylic

Peter commenced his Dental Technician training here in Brisbane in 1975 and completed his Advanced Trade Certificate at Kangaroo Point TAFE in 1984.

Over the last 39 years he has been working continuously in the fields of general prosthetics, removable orthodontic appliances, and advanced chrome-cobalt and gold partial and full castings, incorporating precision attachments and implant attachments.

He came to Gold and Ceramics (Brisbane Gold and Ceramics) in 1999 and is now Senior Technician, Chrome and Acrylic Department.

He is married with two adult sons and enjoys playing guitar and camping.
